Since 1983, La Mirada Pet Clinic has been a trusted part of the community, caring for pets and the families who love them throughout La Mirada, Whittier, Norwalk, and Buena Park. Founded by Dr. Johnny Calimlim, the clinic has served generations of local families with compassion, dedication, and personal attention.

Under the ownership and leadership of Dr. Seungbong Choi, La Mirada Pet Clinic continues as a locally and privately owned veterinary practice committed to personalized, full-service care for dogs and cats. We offer wellness care, preventive medicine, dentistry, diagnostics, medical treatment, and surgery in a warm, welcoming setting where pets and their people feel supported.

Dr. Choi received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in South Korea in 2008. He then continued his training at Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine and completed a one-year small animal medicine and surgery rotating internship at a prestigious specialty hospital in New York City. He has been practicing in Southern California since 2012, with professional interests in emergency and critical care, internal medicine, general surgery, and preventive medicine.
